Voldemort you obviously missed the whole point. And did the govt intervene between 2001-2008? No. How did that work out for the 47 million uninsured?

It could work if government got out of the damn way. Healthcare is a square peg, and government interference created the round hole.

Remove government and let the free market decide.

What will this give us?
1. More competition, reduced costs
2. More choice

Why make this so hard?

Try as the right might, they will never be able to push health care into the rival/excludeable market good box. it just doesn't work. And we could save billions of dollars if they would just give up the ghost and accept that fact.

But they won't, of course, and we'll continue to search for crappy compromises. And we'll continue to place a massive burden on our employers and we'll continue trying to put a square peg into a round hole.
