		<description>By coming on to this ticket too early, Palin has ruined whatever chance she might have had in the future to be a national political figure.

If Obama is a popular incumbent by mid-2010 then no one serious will run for the GOP nomination and Palin might get it by default (and even then she will likely fight Huckabee), but, failing that, she will always be remembered by the way she looked this year, no matter how seasoned, polished and knowledgeable she might eventually become.  (Remember Dan Quayle looking into a presidential bid?)</description>
